Our life saving service
Our life saving service responds to over 3,100 incidents annually across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex and your kind donations contribute to the £57k/day and £4.2k/mission we need to keep flying.

We’re redefining what it is to be an air ambulance charity. We believe in a future where there is an end to preventable loss of life from medical emergency, where families stay together, and lives aren’t destroyed by medical emergencies that could have been avoided.

Kit, equipment & training
We use top of the range equipment that enables our medics to perform hospital level care. We perform open heart surgery, deliver anaesthetic, insert tubes to enable patients to breathe, and administer life-saving blood transfusions. These procedures would normally only take place in a hospital under controlled conditions.

“I was delighted to meet Dan and then be introduced to Richard, who explained in great detail the work that the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance do, in preparing and equipping the helicopters for attending to casualties. I learnt so much about the day-to-day tasks for paramedics, doctors and pilots and the amount of equipment that is required on board. Whilst standing outside viewing one of the helicopters it was called out to an incident, so I was able to watch from a distance the process of receiving the call to getting airborne. It was fairly quick! I am so pleased that Cobtree Charity Trust is one of the grant making charities that helps to keep this amazing facility running in several of the home counties and often beyond”
