We're here for you

You may have questions, you may wish to come and visit us. You might need to reach out and chat to someone from the service who understands.

Whatever you need we will try to help you on your journey of recovery.

Paul

Former Patient

Hi Sarita So lovely to finally meet you today - and thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to meet you and the team! It’s certainly a day I will treasure. It was great for me to be able to talk to Jon and share my photos with him - I’ve attached a few so he can have a better look. It’s certainly helped me click another piece of the jigsaw in place now, knowing the way I was looked after on the 9th of April last year! I will always be an ambassador for your service and will equally always be here to help as and when I can! So wanted to hug today - maybe sometime in the future!! Kind regards Paul
Sarah and Saroj

Former Patient

Thank you so much for yesterday. We loved meeting you all, and seeing the team who helped Saroj. We both were really impacted and pleased to meet them all. So amazing that three of them were on shift together. Please thank them for their time and for talking to us. If you wish to use our story and photo, we are really happy for you to do so. Thanks, Sarah and Saroj

Meet your Patient and Family Aftercare Team

Stu Plumbley

Patient and Family Aftercare Lead
I am proud to be seconded to KSS as the Patient and Family Aftercare Lead working alongside the amazing Sarita. For the last 27 years I have been employed by Southeast Coast Ambulance Service the last 14 years as a critical care paramedic. During that time, I was fortunate to have a long secondment to KSS as a HEMS paramedic in the latter years as a KSS emeritus paramedic. I am honoured to be the lead of this exciting new venture working alongside Sarita, and supported by all my colleagues within KSS, our ambition is to design a patient and family aftercare service which matches the excellent care administered by KSS and our hospital partners and continues to support our patients along their journey of recovery.

Sarita Taneja

Patient and Family Aftercare Manager
Hello, my name is Sarita and I am the Patient and Aftercare Manager here at KSS. I have proudly been working for the charity since 2016 and joined the Aftercare team in May 2022. My role within Aftercare is to be a central point of contact for our patients, their family members and our bereaved families and to welcome them to the charity. I am here to offer information, answer any questions, be a friendly voice at the end of the phone and to help arrange visits to our charity if required – I am always happy to help and will be here to support journeys with KSS.
