Horse riders `Saddle up to Save Lives’

We are thrilled that KSS Ride, our unique off-road sponsored ride, is returning to the picturesque Bilsington Priory near Ashford, Kent, on Sunday, 13 July.ย

This very special event offers equestrians an unforgettable eight-mile ride through stunning private grounds, while supporting a vital cause.

KSS Ride is more than just a fun day ride; it’s an opportunity to ride for a reason and make a real difference. Funds raised from this event will help us continue to provide lifesaving emergency service across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. Just ยฃ50 could pay for a set of defibrillator pads, to help resuscitate someone experiencing cardiac arrest. ยฃ150 could buy a vacuum splint to stabilise a damaged limb.

As an independent charity, we depend on the support of our local community. We are there for everyone in their time of need, including horse-riders; in the last two calendar years our crews have attended 55 horse-related incidents.

Katie Rose, our Events Assistant, said: โ€œWeโ€™re excited to again be offering keen horse riders a chance to enjoy this very special setting on horseback. They will enjoy a mix of woodland paths, gentle hills and optional canter strips on a fully marshalled route. It will be a truly memorable ride.

โ€œOur independent lifesaving charity depends on the support of the communities we serve in order to continue our work, so everyone who takes part will be joining us in our fight to save lives. It is always great to see the equestrian community join us in spreading awareness and supporting their local air ambulance charity.โ€
