In April 2022 KSS cared for William’s Dad, Chris, following an accident he had whilst at work. Since Chris’ accident KSS have had the pleasure to welcome William and his family to the charity to receive support from our Patient and Family Aftercare team, they have all become and important part of the KSS family.
In March William joined our Hound Hike fundraiser and raised over £600, a great achievement at just six years old! William is looking forward to helping us to raise vital funds for KSS:
” I am very excited to become an ambassador for Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex because they helped my Dad last year when he had a bad accident at work. I want to meet other children who have similar stories so we can learn more about the air ambulance and tell other people about what they do. I also want to come up with ways of raising money so the helicopters can fly to more people” – William
We are so pleased to be welcoming William as our ninth KSS Young Ambassador. He is going to be a wonderful addition to our inspiring group of young people.
