Elodie Austin, aged six, lives in Whitstable, Kent, with her mum Becky and dad Luke
In September 2025, when Elodie was five years old, she became seriously unwell at home following a medical seizure. A crew from KSS provided specialist emergency care before flying her to King’s College Hospital, with her mum Becky travelling alongside her.
Following her treatment, Elodie and her family have been supported by our Patient and Family Aftercare Service and have become part of the KSS family. They joined other Young Ambassadors at the annual summer picnic, where Elodie quickly made new friends and embraced the opportunity to learn more about the charity.
Elodie is a cheerful and caring young girl who is passionate about helping others. As a Young Ambassador, she is keen to share her story and support KSS in raising awareness of the lifesaving work made possible by the charity.
“I am looking forward to being a Young Ambassador because I know how much the air ambulance helps people. I would like to help raise money to help other people, like the air ambulance helped me.” – Elodie.
We are pleased to welcome Elodie to Team KSS as one of our inspiring Young Ambassadors.
