Dame Tracey Crouch is a long-standing advocate of our lifesaving work. As the former MP for Chatham and Aylesford, Tracey worked closely with us to help raise awareness, support local fundraising efforts, and champion national recognition for our crews.
In 2022, she led a successful campaign to include air ambulance staff in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal honours. In 2023 Tracey took part in the Aimee Williams Memorial Bike Ride for the first time, a 65km fundraising event held in memory of 30-year-old Aimee Williams. KSS provided critical care at the scene of Aimee’s accident. Tracey, who knew Aimee and her family, joined the ride to help raise funds and awareness. Her support brought attention to the event and reinforced the importance of community-led fundraising.
Most recently Tracey played a key role in an event we held at Westminster, bringing together MPs from right across our region to gain their even greater support – helping ensure we can develop our aviation capability and empower our communities to reach more patients and save more lives.
