Fantastic news! We have been shortlisted for two Air Ambulances UK Awards of Excellence 2022 – Campaign of the Year and Charity Staff Member of the Year. These prestigious annual awards celebrate and recognise the skills and commitment of those working tirelessly within and in support of the air ambulance community.
KSS has been selected as a finalist for Campaign of the Year in recognition of the success of our first digital lead generation fundraising campaign – a three month campaign aimed at growing and diversifying our fundraising income. This campaign exceeded all targets and resulted in us reaching a new, younger audience, securing 537 new donors and raising additional annual donations of £45,000.
Our amazing Sarita Taneja, who joined KSS’s Community Fundraising Team six years ago before joining our Patient and Family Aftercare Team, has been shortlisted for Charity Staff Member of the Year. Sarita is an inspiration to all who work with her. Amongst her many other achievements, she has spearheaded our Young Ambassadors programme, helped to set up our new Patient and Family Aftercare Team, has supported thousands of fundraisers, organised store collections and managed KSS’s attendance at fundraising events.
