Restart a Heart Competition Terms

Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex’s (KSS) free prize draw for Restart a Heart Day School and Youth Groups

  1. The prize draw is open to any individual aged 18 years or over, on behalf of a school, youth group, business, community group or as an individual located in England and specifically the counties of Kent, Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex. 
  2. This draw is open to all Restart a Heart online session sign ups via website and sign-up form only and anyone entering at one of our in-person events. No purchase is necessary. 
  3. There is a prize draw for 1) schools and youth groups where the winning prize (one for each county) will be a base visit for a max. of 30 pupils/children and staff to meet member(s) of the KSS crew at either our Rochester or Redhill sites at a date to be arranged with the winner. Alternatively, dependent on location, a RRV and crew will visit the school/group at their address. There are no cash alternatives for this prize and it will be subject to the availability of the crew 
  4. There will also be a separate prize draw for all individuals, groups and businesses where the winning prize will be a base visit to meet our KSS crew at either Rochester or Redhill with for up to 30 people with an in -person CPR training session. Alternatively, dependent on location, a RRV and crew will visit the address of the winner. There are no cash alternatives for this prize and it will be subject to the availability of the crew 
  5. Entries can be submitted via the website, and sign-up form or a postal entry can be made by sending your name, address, contact number to Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex stating entry to the Restart a Heart Day prize draw. Only one entry is permitted per group/individual signing up to the event.
  6. We will not be held liable for any delays or failure in the postal service or other delivery methods including email, including technical faults, or if a technical interruption means your entry is not received.  
  7. This draw will open on the 15 June 2024 and will close on the Sunday 20 October 2024 at 11.59pm 
  8. The draw will take place on Tuesday 22 October and the winning entries will be selected at random, by an independent person, from all of the valid entries received.   
  9. Sign-ups received after Sunday 20 October will not be counted  
  10. Any draw entry may be rejected or withdrawn for any reason at the discretion of the Promoter. 
  11. The Promoter’s decision is final in any matter regarding the draw and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 
  12. The winner will be notified by telephone if possible and then confirmed in writing 
  13. If we are unable to contact the winner to confirm the prize then after three days we will re-draw a winning entry 
  14. The promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates a valid award took pace. To comply with this obligation, the promoter will name the group, or send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails or writes to request this. 
  15. If you object to any or all of your group’s name or your surname/county being made available or published, please contact [Insert contact details] In such details the promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 
  16. These Terms & Conditions are the rules for the Restart a Heart Day prize draws, operated by Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex. By entering the draw you agree to be bound by these rules. 
  17. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy See also Condition 12 with regard to the announcement of winners. 
  18. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
