Our free online training takes place on 16 October 2025 as part of Restart a Heart Day. There are also pre-recorded sessions available from 1 October 2025. Join us and together we can save more lives.

I want to Gift Aid my donation and any donations I make in the future or have made in the past 4 years to Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give. £5 a month for 1 year could buy disposable tubing that blood passes through. This attaches to our blood warmer to rapidly bring chilled blood to body temperature so it can be safely transfused into a patient.

£7.50 a month for 1 year could pay for seven closed suction catheters, which allow our crews to safely clear secretions from breathing tubes.

£10 a month for 1 year could buy protective footwear (with toe protection) for one of our crew. It is not always possible to land beside the casualty. Our crews need to be able to get from the helicopter to the casualty to help anyone at any time, whatever the weather, so the right boots are essential.

£15 could pay for a canister for our suction unit, to collect the fluids being drawn from a patient.

£35 could pay for a set of defibrillator pads, to help resuscitate someone during cardiac arrest.

£50 could provide a unit of plasma, which is given alongside packed red blood cells as part of our transfusion protocol.
