Tim retired from full time work in 2016, having spent the previous six years looking after Sting and his family’s wealth and business interests. This was a big change from the 30 years working for Unilever in Finance, IT, Supply Chain and General Management, becoming a Chartered Accountant along the way. He worked in the UK, Australia, and Singapore, and finally as Managing Director of Unilever Korea based in Seoul. Before that Tim had worked as an Engineer with Schlumberger after three years of Engineering at Oxford.
Tim remains involved in Red House Foods, a small family-owned frozen gluten-free food manufacturer in Wiltshire.
He enjoys his golf at Liphook GC, and also walks (without clubs) in the beautiful Surrey Hills where he lives. Apart from the occasional tennis and pickleball games, most of his other sports are now enjoyed from a sedentary position, some of them ending in disappointment these days with Tottenham’s performances. He remains intensely curious and AI is proving to be a valuable instructor.
