David is an aviation executive with substantial experience in airline operations, training and safety management. He is currently Group Chief Operating Officer at easyJet, with over nine years’ experience at the airline including roles as Chief Pilot and Director of Flight Operations.
David is responsible for all UK and European operations on the ground and in the air, leading a team of over 18,000 staff. He’s still a current pilot and flies easyJet aircraft every month to various European destinations. In his spare time, David is an Honorary Air Commodore in the Royal Auxiliary Air Force and supports a Squadron at RAF Brize Norton.
David joined our Board of Trustees in March 2022.
