Barney Burgess
Barney Burgess has a broad business experience, having worked for McKinsey & Co as a consultant before joining Tesco plc where he ran their grocery home shopping business and was a Commercial Director. He is now a partner in Hattington Investment Partners, a private equity partnership, and is a Vice President for Online Grocery for Asda.
Significantly, in 2015, he was airlifted by Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex and brings enormous passion and commitment to the charity which saved his life. Barney was appointed as Chair of KSS’s Board of Trustees in December 2021 until January 2025.
