Royal Parks Half was my first ever half marathon. The scenic, varied route and great atmosphere really took my mind off running 13.1 miles. I really felt like royalty crossing the finish line when I was presented with my wonderful wooden medal. I personally chose to opt out of a finisher’s T-shirt and opted for a tree to be planted instead – a nice sustainable touch!”
