Terms and Conditions: Family Fun Day and Mini Medic MissionÂ
GeneralÂ
- Dogs are welcome but must be always kept on a lead. Owners are responsible for their dogs’ behaviour. Dogs must not be left unattended in vehiclesÂ
- Parking is free and located on a grass field. Please follow the instructions of car park marshals. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle—items are left at the owner’s risk. KSS accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or theftÂ
- Litter must be disposed of in designated bins or taken home. Please help us keep the site clean.Â
- Prohibited Items: Bikes, scooters (manual or electric), skateboards, and similar leisure transport are not allowed on siteÂ
- Weather: This is an outdoor event with limited shelter. Please come prepared for all weather conditions, including sun protection. In wet weather, the grass terrain may become muddy.Â
- Smoking (including vaping) is not permitted anywhere on the event siteÂ
AccessibilityÂ
- The venue is accessible for wheelchair, pushchair and mobility scooter users. This is largely an outdoor event on short grass. While the field is mostly flat, some areas may have uneven surfacesÂ
- Accessible toilets are available on siteÂ
Photography and filmingÂ
- KSS will be taking photos and video throughout the event for promotional purposes.  If you do not wish to be captured on photo or video, please let us know as you arrive and you will be given a lanyard to wearÂ
- KSS may also use social media (e.g. Facebook/Twitter) to post real-time photos and videos to its social media feedsÂ
- By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree as follows: (a) KSS may edit and use footage it captures at the event for marketing and promotional activities and for any other lawful purpose in the ordinary course of its business; and (b) due to the prevalence of mobile recording devices, KSS disclaims all liability for the capture of your image in any multimedia format by other attendees at the eventÂ
Conditions of entryÂ
- Every visitor must have a valid ticket to enter. Please have these ready when you arrive, either printed or e-ticket formÂ
- You must be 18 or over to book tickets for this eventÂ
- Visitors aged 15 or under must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. You may be asked to confirm your age via a valid ID before being allowed entryÂ
- Tickets are on a first come, first served basisÂ
- KSS will use the email address and contact information you supply when you sign up to send you information about this event. Further communications will be based on your communications preferences. More information can be found in our privacy noticeÂ
- We reserve the right to prohibit any item if, in the reasonable opinion of the organisers, it could constitute a risk to safety and security. No facilities exist to store any itemsÂ
- If you are refused entry to the event, or have been previously removed, you may not attempt to regain entry to the eventÂ
Event Cancellation/Postponement:Â Â
- If the Family Fun Day or the Mini Medic Mission needs to be cancelled or postponed, KSS will communicate a rescheduled date as soon as possible. Please check our website, social media and your email for any updates associated with this eventÂ
- KSS cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage sustained because of the event cancellation or changes to the event; this includes, and is not limited to, accommodation or travel costÂ
SecurityÂ
KSS can reserve the right to refuse entry to the Family Fun Day or Mini Medic Mission to attendees who may be:Â
- behaving in an anti-social or threatening mannerÂ
- carrying any prohibited itemsÂ
- under the influence of drugs or alcohol (or appear to be)Â
- under the minimum age of entry or failed to produce valid ID to prove their ageÂ
- using an invalid or counterfeit confirmation emailÂ
These terms and conditions relate to the Mini Medic Mission only:Â Â
- The Mini Medic Mission is suitable for children up to the age of 12 yearsÂ
- Entries are non-refundable but can be transferred to another child, please contact events@aakss.org.uk to make this requestÂ
- All children must be accompanied by an adultÂ
- All participants and supervising adults are required to sign-in at the registration desk on arrivalÂ
- KSS will use the email address and contact details you supply when you sign up to send you information about this eventÂ
- This event features a variety of fun and age-appropriate obstacles. It is the responsibility of the supervising adult to assess and determine the suitability of the course for their childÂ
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child is fit and healthy to take part in the event. Children can withdraw from the course at any timeÂ
- Dogs are prohibited around the Mini Medic Mission courseÂ
- The course is over a grass terrain which unfortunately, may be unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs (please check your chosen Mini Medic Mile for more information)Â
- All participants are responsible for ensuring that they are wearing the appropriate attire, including footwear, when participating, taking in to account the nature of the event, the terrain and the weather forecastÂ
- Supervising adults are advised to carry a mobile phone and add the emergency contact number for the organiser on the day into their mobile phone, for easy access, should this be needed Â
- Sponsorship money should be transferred to KSS within 8 weeks of the eventÂ
- Sponsorship forms should be returned to KSS to enable gift aid to be claimedÂ
