You’ll ride from Clapham Common to Brighton Seafront to help save lives.

You’ll head through the countryside and climb Ditchling Beacon before soaring down to Brighton Seafront.

Here’s what you can expect from Europe’s Oldest Charity Bike Ride, hosted by British Heart Foundation:

The route The London to Brighton Bike Ride starts on Clapham Common, South London, and ends by the sea on Brighton Beachfront. The 54-mile route is mostly on closed, traffic-free tarmac roads. Explore the route here. Start times The London to Brighton Bike Ride takes place on Sunday 21 June 2026. Start times are staggered every 30 minutes, from 6am to 9.30am. You’ll be sent your start time a month before the event. This will be based on your cycling ability that you provide when you register. Ability level Whether you’re a new rider or a seasoned pro, everyone’s encouraged to get involved in the London to Brighton Bike Ride. Your preparations will be supported with training plans and tips. You can ride at your own pace so no one gets left behind. There’s solo rider meet up points, as well as Ride Rangers in every start wave to support you on the day. Remember, it’s not your wheels, it’s how you use them.
