We are pleased to share the news that our biggest ever fundraising campaign, Buy it for Life, has been shortlisted for a Data & Marketing Association Award in the media strategy category. The nomination was put forward by the agencies that supported us with the campaign, Open Creates and Join the Dots and we were heavily involved in the submission.
This is well deserved recognition given how incredibly well the campaign performed, reaching its target and raising an astonishing £2M. It has been shortlisted alongside campaigns from well-known national organisations and names including Pets at Home, British Airways and the Mayor of London.
`Buy it for Life’ was launched earlier this year when we needed to raise £1million in two months to complete the purchase of our second helicopter.
Thanks to the overwhelming support we received the target was reached in just six weeks, with the appeal going on to raise nearly £2million.
