Charlotte wins a Future Leaders Award at National Legacy Giving Awards

Weโ€™re delighted to announce that Charlotte Price, our Legacy and In Memory Manager, has been named as winner of a Future Leaders Bursary Award at the Legacy Giving Awards, celebrating outstanding emerging talent in the charity sector.

The award, presented at a ceremony earlier this week, recognises individuals who are making a significant impact early in their careers and demonstrating innovation, leadership and commitment to growing legacy giving as a vital source of longโ€‘term charitable support.

The Future Leaders Award specifically highlights professionals who are driving positive change within their organisations and across the legacy giving sector, championing new approaches to engage supporters and secure sustainable futures for charities. In recognition of her achievement, Charlotte will receive a series of mentoring sessions with experts in the field.

Speaking after receiving the award, Charlotte Price said: โ€œIโ€™m incredibly honoured to have been recognised with the Future Leader Bursary Award at the Smee and Ford Legacy Giving Awards. Itโ€™s especially meaningful given the inspirational role legacies play in helping KSS deliver our lifesaving service, saving lives and helping to keep families together.

โ€œLegacies play such an important role in our work here at KSS. Thanks to the incredible generosity of legacy supporters, one in four of our missions is now funded by gifts in Wills. Every one of those gifts represents someone choosing to make a lasting difference.โ€

Anna Purland, our Head of Individual Fundraising said: โ€œIโ€™m so proud of Charlotte for this well-deserved recognition. Since starting the role, her passion and creativity have transformed our legacy programme, from redesigning our website to hosting our first legacy event and making legacies something we can all embrace. I canโ€™t wait to see what she achieves next!โ€

Youโ€™ll find more information about leaving a gift in your Will here, and about donating in memory of a loved one here.
