We welcome business leaders to find out more about our lifesaving work

We were delighted to welcome guests from across the business world to an exclusive networking event at our Redhill base, offering a behind the scenes look at our lifesaving work. They included regional business leaders, charitable partners, community influencers and representatives from local organisations.

Hosted on Wednesday 11 March, the event gave attendees a base tour, a hands-on lifesaving skills session, and the opportunity to connect from a dynamic lineup of speakers, specialising in leadership, wellbeing and business growth. Speakers included; Jarmila Yu, Founder and MD of YUnique Marketing, Brett North, Chief Executive Officer of Gatwick Diamond Initiative and Claire Elmes, Founder of Inspire You Wellbeing

Guests also heard from a former KSS patient, who shared their personal story of survival and recovery. Their journey highlights the profound impact of rapid, specialist medical treatment and the difference KSS makes every single day.

Brett North said: “I really enjoyed attending – the marketing presentation was genuinely fascinating and it was an excellent day overall. It was incredibly eye-opening to see the extraordinary work that KSS carries out every day. The dedication of the team is truly inspiring.”

Our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Rebecca Ussher, said: “Events like these bring our community together to experience the heart of our service. We’re proud to open our doors, share vital lifesaving skills, and celebrate the resilience of those we’ve been able to help.

“KSS provides world leading, prehospital emergency treatment and care 24/7, responding to over 3,100 missions every year across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. We bring the emergency room to the scene of the most critically ill patients and serious incidents, delivering vital care whenever and wherever needed when every second counts.

“As an independent charity, 91% of our income comes from public donations, fundraising and partnerships.  It is the commitment of supporters like those who joined us today that ensures we can continue our lifesaving work. Their generosity enables our highly skilled team of pilots, paramedics and doctors to deliver vital, lifesaving care to people across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

“Events like this help us build stronger relationships across the region, develop new partnerships and shine a light on our extraordinary work while engaging our supporters in a meaningful and memorable way.”
