We saved Max’s dad’s life in November 2020 after he suffered an aortic dissection at home. Max was just six-years-old at the time. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Max and his family, who’ve also very kindly shared their story to help raise awareness and funds for our charity. As soon as we met Max at our Rochester base, we knew he had the exact kindness and enthusiasm that would make him a perfect Team KSS Young Ambassador, we were over the moon when he said he would be happy to join us.

They looked after him and made sure he got better and that has motivated me to raise awareness and money. I hope I will also be able to meet and help other children who have had similar experiences to me.
