When is KSS Ride?
Sunday 20th August 2023
Where is it?
Bilsington Priory Estate, Ashford, TN25 7AU.
What time does it start?
Your start time will be emailed to you ahead of the day within the
time slot you have chosen on the day of signing up.
What happens if I am running late for my start time?
We fully understand that things don’t always go to plan on the day – especially with horses. So, if you are running late, please do keep in touch to let us know. As and when you arrive, we will do our best to slot you in to a suitable slot to enjoy your ride. Should we not hear from you prior, we do also do a courtesy call to check all is ok and if you
are still wishing to attend.
How much money do I need to raise?
We ask you to try and raise at least £150. This is just a target. Every penny you raise will make a vital difference. £150 could buy one unit of blood, which enables us to treat patients with life-threatening injuries at the scene and on the way to hospital.
Do I have to use JustGiving for my fundraising?
JustGiving is our preferred platform, we have a campaign page set up for all participants to join here. If you choose to set up an alternative fundraiser, like a JustGiving page or Facebook fundraiser, please rest assured that all monies raised will reach us; you’ll just need to ensure that you include the details of the event, such as the date and location and include ‘I’m taking part in Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex’s event, KSS Ride’.
How can I raise sponsorship offline?
Please use our sponsorship form, you can find this here.
If I’m part of a team that’s riding together, can we fundraise collectively?
Yes, we’d recommend a joint fundraising page and would ask that you edit the target to reflect the total amount you would like to raise as a team.
