Skydive

Take on a skydive. Be a life-saver.

Jump into the experience of a lifetime and go above and beyond (literally), get out of your comfort zone and skydive from 12,000ft. You’ll free-fall for 30-40 seconds before your instructor opens your parachute and you continue your dare devil descent which will last around four minutes.

You’ll have a truly unforgettable experience whilst raising vital funds for Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS).

This is a tandem skydive and you’ll be fully briefed and trained before you jump and you’ll be strapped to an experienced skydiving instructor, who’s there to control the skydive for you. You’ll be given an opportunity to steer however the instructor remains in control at all times.

Please note:

  • You have to be 16 or over on the day of the skydive to take part
  • If you’re under 18, your parent or guardian will need to complete the forms on your behalf
  • For safety reasons Headcorn Aerodrome’s general weight limit fully clothed is 86kg (13½ stone) however this limit is proportional to height. Please see full details under ‘restrictions’ here
  • Personal accident insurance is not included as part of your booking and we recommend that you arrange suitable cover

To book your skydive, you’ll need to pay a £70 booking fee (paid directly to our skydive partner Skyline Events upon registering) and commit to a minimum sponsorship of £450. Once you’ve registered, our Challenge Team will be in touch.

Skyline Events FAQs can be found here: Skyline’s FAQs.

Already booked a skydive? If you’ve booked a skydive independently and would like to raise funds for us, we’d love to hear from you. Please email challenge@aakss.org.uk.
