Host a Roast is a fun and easy way to raise funds for your local Air Ambulance Charity while having a great time with your friends and family.
Host your roast, or meal of choice – whether meat or veggie, full roast or beans-on-toast – choose whatever works best for you and ask everyone for a small donation to support our life-saving care.
We’ve got some goodies to help – test your food knowledge with our fun quiz and get the kids involved with our peas on a plate game. You’ll also get a free tea towel for taking part!

How your roast dinner will make a difference
To many, we are thought of as an ambulance in the sky that can race quickly to the scene of a medical emergency or serious injury, but KSS is so much more than speed alone. When people find themselves in need of critical care, we bring the Accident and Emergency room to them. Our expert doctors and paramedics deliver life-saving care, in the rain, in a field, on the roadside – wherever it is needed.
Our care is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As an independent charity we need to raise £15.2M each year (that’s £42k each day). We rely on the dedication, support and donations from our communities to provide expert critical care whenever it is needed.

Some cheaper ways to Host a Roast
- Why not ask everyone attending to cook part of the roast themselves? If someone else makes the best cauliflower cheese, ask them to bring it along!
- Have you got a slow cooker or air fryer you could use? These are often a more cost-effective way of cooking and just as tasty too!
- Rather than hosting a roast why not cook your family’s favourite dish? Spaghetti Bolognaise, Curry, Beans on toast – whatever works for you!
