We’re delighted to announce that our recent carol concerts have raised a fantastic £28.5K. A very big thank you to everyone who joined us at Rochester and Guildford Cathedrals on 8th and 13th December. It was wonderful to be able to come together again after an extraordinary few years and get the festivities underway in style.
Held in the magnificent cathedrals of Rochester and Guildford, these special events were an opportunity to sing along to festive favourites and also to hear from our doctors and paramedics, whose life-saving work is reliant upon funds raised by our supporters. Each year, we must raise £15.2M to operate our pre-hospital emergency medicine service 24/7 for the 4.8 million people who live in our region. 86% of our total income is raised through the generosity of our supporters.
Kelly Heaton-Ralph, our Executive Director of Fundraising and Philanthropy said: “Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who came along to our carol concerts. It was wonderful seeing friends old and new, and very special to be able to come together once again. On behalf of KSS, I also want to thank GEW for their generosity in sponsoring our first ever carol concert in Guildford.”
She continued: “Your support is truly as critical as our care and everyone who generously supported us by attending one of our carol concerts has helped us give the gift of life this Christmas.”
